TCP hiccups on T1 connection

TCP hiccups on T1 connection

Post by Naeem Bar » Sat, 24 Aug 1996 04:00:00

I telnet remotely from my office to a linux machine via a T1
connection (there is a LAN at the linux end).

My problem is that small keystroke transfers are very jerky. At
times the connection will seem to freeze and then will resume
with a short burst. Extremely annoying. /var/adm/messages and
syslog don't tell me anything useful.

The machine I connect from is a Sparc5 running Solaris 2.5.1

Any info and help will be greatly appreciated. I would also

Thanks,
naeem

I should do better than the options I got so far. So any suggestion, offer or help is welcome.
(Decision need to be made by August 22nd.)
Thanks
