3270 Emulation to IBM M/F with 3174 Controller

3270 Emulation to IBM M/F with 3174 Controller

I've got a 3270 emulation card (DFT Coax) in my PC and would like to
know if there is any Linux software to make it work, e.g. get a
connection to the M/F.

Under Windoze, we use Rumba or Attachmate.  The card is MFG'd by
Attachmate.

Any thoughts??

Thanks,
   Ben

Hi Ben,

I'm not sure if this is what you want, but there is an X window program
called X3270.
You should be able to find it on sunsite.
Another program I know of is tn3270 - non X window program.
Hope this helps.

1. IBM 3270 Emulation; where?

To all,

I'm looking for an already compiled version of x3270 for Solaris 2.3.  Or
any information on a 3270 emulator that uses TCP/IP port 23 and the X11 R6 Front
End.

BTW: SPRY 3270 Connect "DOES" work under WABI 2.0 on Solaris 2.3, BUT only
once, you have to restart WABI after you terminate your 3270 session, to
get SPRY 3270 to run again.

                                Thanks in advance,
