based 10/100 PCI network board. I've hard no luck so far. Anyone got a
clue?

I found an alpha version of a driver at
http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/eepro100.html
I was able to get it to work on my system, but you have to compile it
yourself.

1. Viper v770, Intel EthExp 10/100 82557 - solaris8/rh7.1
The good, the bad, the ugly? I'm setting up a tri-boot box with NT, Solaris
2.8, and rh 7.1. I'm trying to determine the best video card and ethernet
card to use between the 3. Has anyone had luck with the above hardware?
Any other suggestions if these are not good? I'll be buying soon and these
looked like my best shots from the respective HCLs.
I'd like atleast 16MB RAM (32 MB ok - like the v770) on the video card and
be able to display 1024x768 with 24 bit color. I'd like the network card to
be 10/100. Also, I'd like the install to go as smooth as possible.
