Hi,

sorry no answer but the same Question. One problem I see, is that the
"Online"-User normally not use a local network and so he hasn't got a
real Login...
The Problem:
Using Samba with security=user needs an correct account from the user?!

Quote:> If you could please resond by email, I would appreciate it.

And in this group or respond by email also.

1. Help on Linux PPP authentication using "Windows 95 dialup networking" like application

Hi,
From: New Linux User.

I am looking for information on how to setup my Linux workstation to use
the Windows 95 like "Connect To.." in dialup networking.

The reason is that I use an encryption that supplies me with a new
passwd everytime I have to connect.  I would like to avoid modifying
files everytime I have to connect to the Internet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
