I'm trying to use the campus' SLIP dial in service. According to
book, after I dial into the SLIP and get an IP address, I'm supposed
to come back to the local dip prompt and type 'mode SLIP'. But
everytime I do this, dip responds with something like "set HOSTNAME"
first. When I check HOSTNAME env variable in the Linux, it's set
to a name I used in the login script. Anybody know what dip is
trying to get to here? Thanks for any help
