Hi, I am kind of new to linux and I just installed it but experiencing
some problems.  When I try to boot it freeze at
CSLIP: code copyright 1989 Regents of University of Calfornia

if I boot with the linux boot disk and do: mount root=/dev/hdb2( <- my linux
partition) it boot fine.  I have a 16bit ISA NE2000 compatible card on my
computer, it seems it's the card* on the CSLIP driver or something...
is there some configuration file I should edit to take out the CSLIP function?
or I have to re-compile the whole kernel? please help me... thanks in
advance.

1. Linux boot problems

LILO / Linux does not have any problems running with the PCI bus.  I
have a Pentium-90 with a PCI bus that hums along with no complaints.  I
had a similar problem after fiddling around with the Hard Drive.  I
reinstalled LILO from scratch and the problem went away.

Good luck!
