You've got about everything you need! Get cables (I suggest twisted
pair), plug them in and start configuring....
If you don't want to use the hub, you will need a cross-over cable.
If you don't want to use twisted pair, get some RG-58
(cheapernet-coax-cable) and two terminating-resistors.

That's all - have fun networking!

Plug in the cables, configure the networks and go.

1. Howto connect Linux and win95 machines via ethernet?

I have a linux box and a win95 box (actually winn95 is not ready, yet)
that I want to connect via ethernet.
How do you do that? Direct connection with a thinnet cable (both ethernet
cards are 10-base2 type) would suffice? Or do I have to use T-connector
and make a loop?
