multilink ppp for T1s

multilink ppp for T1s

Post by lehman.a.. » Tue, 28 Feb 2006 02:16:58

I want to build a linux router that will support multiple bonded T1
channels using MP (RFC 1990). Has anyone successfully configured such a
system with multiple T1 cards?

There is an MP package, but it seems to no longer be under development.
Has anybody used this?  http://linux-mp.terz.de/

Do any kernel versions support MP (MLPPP) natively?

Thanks,
Alan

1. Multilink PPP

I assume the answer is yes, but ...  can FreeBSD do 'multilink PPP'?
That is, using several simultaneous PPP links to simulate a larger
bandwidth channel?

If so, how does one go about setting it up?
