If you have a Dynamic IP, and want to host a Web, FTP or other Internet Server,
you can get a Dynamic DNS solution from someone like TZO.COM
http://www.tzo.com offers a static domain name for a dynamic IP. We have Linux
scripts, as well as Windows, Mac a java client software that sends your Dynamic
IP to our DDNS servers each time the IP changes.
Our software was rated 5 stars by Linuxberg and can also be found on
Freshmeat.net. For more information, you can see http://www.tzo.com or
http://www.dynamicdns.org
A typical TZO Subdomain costs about $25 per year, or $60 per year for a Private
domain name attached to a Dynamic (or Static) IP address.
