pop3 server with webinterface to manage pop3 accounts

Post by RMM » Mon, 28 Apr 2003 07:18:25

Hi

I'm using debian woody and am looking for an pop3 mail server, with a
webinterface, where a user could manage the email accounts over a browser
(add new email accoutns, change passwort, delete them.. and so on). I
installed the courier pop3-server because i thought the webadmin interface
would be something like that.. but unfortunately it wasn't ;(
Does anybody have a suggestion of a server, which supports that?

thanks

Ronney

hi!

look out for skyrix green (http://www.skyrix.com/) it's an ldap based
groupware system, very nice.

i took a look on it.. yes it looks nice ;)
but i only need a pop3-server, not a whole groupware solution ;)

but it seems as would qmail+vpopmail+vmailadmin be what i've been looking
for, but i'll test it tomorrow ;)
if anybody knows a better solution, i would be pleased to hear about it ;)

1. Home POP3 server connect to ISP POP3 server

Hello,

I'm a newbie for Linux. I already have a masq network at home serving
internet masq and file sharing. I wanna to setup a home POP3/SMTP server
for our family members and I only got a dial-up connection to the ISP
with one single email address. Is it possible to setup several "home"
email addresses within my private network but still be able to send out
to the world through my single account in the ISP?

I have tried to look at some HOW-To and books but nothing mentions on
this directly...

Thanks in advance

Kelvin
