1. PPP works but can't use Netscape or mail

Hi

Many thanks to all who have helped me with my PPP connection! I have
learned alot but still have some problems.

I am able to use my network configurer to activate my PPP connect to
my ISP and there are no errors listed in my /var/log/messages. It
connects and exits correctly in my log. I can also ping my ISP server
successfully.

Typing usernet at the prompt bring up the little box to toggle my PPP
connection on and off. It seems to work but does not turn green when
connected.

I cannot use either mail in my Applixware or Netscape for the web.
When I open Netscape, it seems to hang trying to connect to
www.netscape.com

Any suggestions?
