thanks for the help. the problem was that i didn't have the right
permissions set on /var/spool/samba
i was wondering what settings should be set though on that dir
what should the chmod and chown settings be.....i have the following right
now:
# ls -la /var/spool
drwxrwxrwt 2 root root 1024 Jun 16 10:05 samba
is this the safest setting to place this on?
