Very Computer

I am currently using the REDHAT 3.0.3 distribution with a downloaded
kernel version 2.0.20 on a HP Netserver 5/66LF. I am tring to connect
Linux to a network using a HP J2577A 10/100VG EISA network card.

When I try to load the hp100.o module the system hangs with the following
message.

I have a Microp. 3GB attached to the internal SCSI bus.

Has anybody had this problem, and how can I rectify it.
