I don't know if this thread is the right one. But hopefully someone can
help me.
I have to do some researches in tcp/ip and udp/ip. For that I have to
increase the starting window for tcp. How can I do that? Can I do that
without root permissons? For example with my code using setsockopt or
something like that.

1. slowing down or turning off key repetition
A student of mine who is physically challenged would like to slow down
if not completely turn off the key repeat facility of her keyboard.
At home she is using Linux (not sure which) and is unable to move her
left hand quick enough. As a result of which when she presses a key
with that hand the key invariably ends up repeating.
I thought there might be an option under stty(1) or tset(1b) but i
coulnd't locate anything.
Any sugestons for slowing down or completely turning off key
repetition?
