Very Computer

I've got 2 machines working with RH7. I've put in the /root/.rhosts an
/root/.shosts files of my first machine (server) a line related to the
second machine (client) :
192.168.0.40  root
I've put also in the /etc/hosts.equiv and etc/shost.equiv a similar line
But when I try to ssh to the first machine from my second machine as root,
I've to enter password. Does someone could help me.
