I need a POP mail client for linux that is text-based.  Any suggestions?

1. Help & Advice needed: Setting up a POP mail client

No.

Archiving is Pine's way of rotating mail in the sent-mail and
saved-messages folders.  Pine is not designed to be a fetchmail
replacement.

Your best solution is to look for a fetchmail clone in sunsite or another
location.  I know that there are a lot of clones, and one of them ought to
meet your needs.

With this being comp.mail.pine and not
comp.mail.pine.and.whatever.other.unix.mail.questions.one.may.have, I have
added comp.os.linux.misc to the newsgroup list, and have set follow-ups
there, since we are going beyind the scope of Pine support and in to the
realm of general Unix questions.

Heck, I may even give this a proper answer in c.o.l.misc.
