Does anyone know where I can find utmp2.c or a working executable uugetty?
I have downloaded getty_ps-2.0.7f from sunsite ... and when I do a make,
I get the following:

*** No rule to make target 'utmp2.o' Stop.

Help!  Thanks,

Bill Barthel

You'll have to ftp the package off ezlink.com.  utmp2.c is
the file libc-linux/login/utmp2.c, altered to add rewriteutent().

Also, files related to uugetty seem to be missing.
The version getty_ps-2.0.7e  from tsx-11 installs properly.

1. getty_ps-2.0.7f missing file

I have been having problems getting my second serial port (ttyS1/cua1
working with my modem.  I remembered having this problem the last time I worked
with Linux and the solution (as I remembered) was to get getty_ps v2.0.7f and
install it.  I got the archive from sunsite (or perhaps ftp.cdrom.com) but it
seems to be missing a needed file (utmp2.c).  Would somebody please point me to
an archive with the utmp2.c file in it?  I believe upgrading my uugetty will
solve my modem problem.  I was actually surprised when I discovered the latest
Linux distributions (Slackware 2.3) came with getty_ps v2.0.7e rather than the
'f' release.  Thanks in advance!
