Still no Synchronous serial cards for Linux ?

Still no Synchronous serial cards for Linux ?

Post by Per Weistee » Sat, 04 Mar 1995 00:21:17

I'm planning to use a Linux box as a router connected to a 64 Kb/s
digital line but I can't seem to find any cards that are supported.
The Serial HOWTO mentiones "SDL N2 (RS-232 and V.35) HDLC
(driver under developement)" Is there any progress ?

1. Synchronous serial cards for PC's running LINUX

Hi,
I'm looking for a synchronous serial card which I can connect to the
serial interface of a Proteon or Cisco Router. I want to use PPP for the
communication. Any information on where such cards, with drivers for
Linux, are available, would be welcome.
I am using Linux Ver 2.0.0 on a Digital Venturis 5120 (Pentium) PC.

TIA & Regards
