I am having problems getting a PPP connection to the AT&T Worldnet
service.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

What Linux distribution do you have?  I bought SuSE 5.3 two weeks ago
and have been able to use kppp to dial my IBM ISP.  kppp runs in many of
the xwindows and looks like the dialer that comes in Win 95/98.

HTH.
