1. IP MASQuerading NOT Masquerading?

Caldera has masquerade support in the stock kernel (see /boot/WHATSIN*).
But ip forwarding is not masquerading.  Read the IP-MASQUERADE howto
under /usr/doc/HOWTO.  You'll need to use ipchains to set up some rules.

If you really do want just forwarding, then change "IPFORWARDING" from
"no" to "yes" in /etc/sysconfig/network.  There's also a setting in COAS
and Webmin for this.
