1. Linux Kernel 1.2.13 or 1.3.20 ??
They don't have trouble with PPP, but they'll need a PPP upgrade to pppd
2.2.0. Worse, pppd 2.2.0 doesn't seem to be compatible with 1.2 kernels.
It's probably not a bad idea to go to 1.3, since you'll probably have
to upgrade this stuff later anyway. The only problems I've had with
the 1.3 kernels is that 3Com 3c503s don't seem to work right with them
for me.
