Hi there,

how can I access a Oracle 7 database from a Linux web-server (Apache)?
I need a solution without installing additional software on the
database-server. I took a look at Openlinks ODBC and JDBC-drivers, but
they require a special request-broker at the database-server.
The database access could be performed via cgi or servlets, I don't
want any client-side databse-access.

I would be glad to here this is possible, otherwise we have to use
that ugly M$ NT as our web-server.
