This might work. I had an old Prosignia (100, I think) over the
summer, and it's onboard ethernet card was a pcnet32. However,
as many companies do when they get their stupid little trademark
names, Compaq names pretty much every single network-related
piece of hardware a NetFlex (note to Compaq: Die), regardless of
what chipset it uses, whether it is onboard or not, and what bus
it uses. It is exceedingly annoying. What I did to help me
figure out which driver to try was to open the case up and look
for a chip that would be likely to be the ethernet chip. Thanks
to everything being onboard, this was an enjoyable hunt through
dozens of chips. Here's a little helpful hint: Never buy a
Compaq server (unless it is Alpha). You'll end up paying
thousands of dollars more than you would be paying for a custom
job for an ugly little box with mediocre onboard hardware.
