I have the following problem with NFS :
I used to have 2 PC running under LINUX Red Hat 5.2.
I NFS mounted some of their filesystems to RS6000 running under AIX 4.3, 4.2.1 and 4.2.0... no problem.
Recently, I decided to upgrade my PCs to Red hat 6.0.
Oddly, I cannot mount any more the PCs filesystems to my RS6000 under AIX 4.2.1, but I still can to those running AIX 4.2.0; AIX 4.3 states :
"RPC: 1832-012 Program/version mismatch; low version = 2, high version = 2"
that seems to imply there is a problem with the LINUX NFS systems.
Unfortunately my backup server is running AIX 4.2.1.
Do anyone have an opinion?
