Would like some one to recommend to me what is considered the best
ethernet card for Redhat linux 6.0 but is also compatiable with Win98 and
NT 4.0. Many thanks to those who may reply.

3COM 905TX, it works very well with any OS

Try Intel Fast Ethernet cards.

I've got a 3com 509B Combo ISA working quite nicely under linux and
win95, I shouldn't think you'll have a problem with it under nt either.

if you can still get them that is..

They're still made.. no need to spend extra money on the combo part unless
you're running coax.
