diskless router

Hi,

ist there enyone whos know about a good documentation about diskless router.

I have the following problem:

I want to boot from a network card (Intel).
The the server is running a dhcp-server and would be found by the  router.

The problem is the bootimage.

In /var/log/messages is the following entry: "the client does not accept
options".
It seems that the router get the "bootimg" from the server but stops working
after that.
I built a bootimage with mknbi-linux and uses for testing pourposes the
/boot/memtest.bin or /boot/vmlinuz on the server.

Is there anybody who can help?

Thanks in advance,

best regards

Ronny
