I have a problem with PCNFS 5.1 mounting nfs directories on Linux
(Slackware 1.0.9). It all appears to start OK but cannot write files of
more than about 1.2kb in size. Larger files hang, then after some time I
get the familiar Abort, Retry, Fail message. The file size on the mounted
directory is 0kb. This happens with 2 different computers and different
network cards in the Linux server. It appears to read longer files OK.

Any clues?

Tell PCNFS use 1K blocks for read/write, or uprade to Linux 1.1/1.2 which
support larger packets.
