System:
Redhat 6.1
2.2.12 Kernel
P2 - 266
Linksys EtherPCI LAN Card II

Using linuxconf, I set the following variables:

Config Mode: DHCP
Primary Name + Domain: C827XXX-a.grlnd1.tx.home.com
Aliases: C827XXX-a
IP: 24.4.0.70 (The IP of my DHCP Server)
Netmask: 255.255.254.0
Net Device: eth0
Kernel Module: ne2k-pci (according to Linksys site, this is the correct
setting)

DNS Usage: DNS is required enabled
Default domain: grlnd1.tx.home.com
nameserver1: 24.4.48.33
nameserver2: 24.4.48.34

Default gateway: 24.5.54.1 (routing enabled)

Host Names: hosts, dns

-----------------------------------------------------------------

This should work!  And it did...once.....and only once....

no mas!  Now every time I try to restart the network connection, I receive
/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S10network reload is taking longer than expected......

S10 tells me that the error is in bringing up the card, but why did it work
once and never again?

Thanks in advance!!!

David (about to beat my head against the wall) Daniel

1. Request headers - 'Reload', <SHIFT>+'Reload'

I was wondering what request headers browser send
when user press 'Reload' ('Refresh') and
<shift>+'Reload'.  Actually I interested about IE 4 (5)
browsers. NS 4 seems send Pragma: no-cache
