Subject: HELP needed with Mars_nwe Novell Server for Linux

I have a copy of the howto and the MARS_NWE net ware engine for Linux. I
compiled it and configured it.
I put "ipx_configure --auto_interface=on --auto_primary=on"
in the network startup on my machine. I have ncpfs and can attach to
Novell server and print... slist So I think I have ipx up.
Now if I run nwserv it starts up and a ps -ax returns.
2343 ? S 0:00 nwserv
2344 ? D 0:00 nwbind UAF_DEV103 0.0.0.0:0.20.af.99.8a.a8:4.51 4001
2345 ? S 0:00 ncpserv UAF_DEV103 0.0.0.0:0.20.af.99.8a.a8:4.51 4001
Which looks a little strange to me. what is the 0.0.0.0 stuff....
If the /etc/nwserv.conf file has
4 0x39a01010 eth0 802.3 1
at the same time slist returns
slist: Connection timed out in ncp_initialize
Now if I shutdown the NWE-SERVER and
take out the eth0 802.3 line and restart I get a ps -ax of
2395 ? S 0:00 nwserv
2396 ? S 0:01 nwbind UAF_DEV103 0.0.0.0:0.20.af.99.8a.a8:4.51 400b
2397 ? S 0:00 ncpserv UAF_DEV103 0.0.0.0:0.20.af.99.8a.a8:4.51 400b
Now a slist on my linux box shows a lot of Novell servers including mine...
UAF_ATLANTIS 0000006B 000000000001
UAF_CHEM 31041EE1 000000000001
UAF_COLUMBIA 0000002B 000000000001
UAF_DEV103 00000000 0020AF998AA8
UAF_DISCOVERY 0000010B 000000000001
UAF_HYPERION AF1A71AA 000000000001
UAF_MARINER 0000007B 000000000001
UAF_URANUS 00BAAAAA 000000000001
UAF_VOYAGER1 0000013B 000000000001
UAF_VYGER 0000001F 000000000001
UAS_MAINT 000000CC 000000000001
YUKON 00000911 000000000001
(this is a reduced list...)
However It is invisable to the rest of the network... I use my dos box
next to me to check. It sees all the other machines but not UAF_DEV103...
Do I need to somehow turn on SAP or add a route??? If someone could
help..
