Well, first of all, I'd like to tell you that I feel like slapping your
face red for cross-posting such a question to no less than 6 newsgroups. I
will however not do that, due to the fact that you despite your ignorance
had the sense to set follow up.

However, I suppose you could have your system on the 1.2 gb disk, and put
the ftp dir on the 6.3 gb, and have another part of the ftp on the 1.6,
like the upload or whatever.

These are just hits in the dark, since we have no idea how loaded your
site will be, nor what other services it will run.

Be more specific, and do not excess your cross-posting. And, if you
against all odds feel like answering this post, you ought to know that
I'll change my mind concerning that slapping if you top post.

Good night/day.

1. newbie question:elf, bread, partition, good linux book?

actually, the linux ext2 filesystem'll go up to 4T (yes, terrabytes :)

sounds like it's trying to mount an msdos filesystem and can't find a valid
msdos filesystem on there.

Oh, dear... that's a major, major upgrade.... did you read
/usr/src/linux/Docmentation/Changes?

Check out the pre-patches at ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/testing,
they support the ide zip drive.
