Hi,
I have heard that linuxconf can be used for remote network
administration. How is that done? I  have not seen any doc
on it.
                                                    Thanks

There is a setting in one of the config menus which when enabled,
makes linuxconf listen to a particular port like a web server and then
using any web browser, you can connect and interact.

I can't be more specific about the setting since I don't use
linuxconf. I actually use something which I feel is much
better...Webmin which is freely available at www.webmin.com. It is
entirely web browser based, even locally. I also feel it is much more
stable than linuxconf.
