They are legitimate public addresses. So as long as you got the address
block you are gatewaying from the proper coordinator everything should be

Assuming that the RF routing is correct and there is a gateway someplace,
this should work. According to the MAE-West Looking Glass, there are BGP
routes being advertised for 44.0.0.0, so all would appear to be well.
Just for grins I pinged 44.0.0.1 just now and got 356 mS, so it does work.
