automounter problem: /usr/lib/autofs// undefined symbol: yperr_string)

Redhat 5.0

When /etc/rc.d/init.d/autofs reload is run, I get:

starting automounter version 0.3.14, path = /-, maptype = yp, mapname =
cannot open lookup module yp (/usr/lib/autofs// undefined
symbol: yperr_string)

Then, when I cd to my homedir I get:

automount[328]: attempting to mount entry /home/helper
pearljam automount[1360]: lookup(file): lookup for helper failed

NIS works fine, I can ymatch helper passwd ok.

Any help appreciated,

While building a new version of samba 2.2.8a it wanted to make cups but
then got this error:

===>   samba-2.2.8a depends on shared library: cups.2 - not found
===>    Verifying install for cups.2 in /usr/ports/print/cups-base
===>  Building for cups-base-
/usr/libexec/ /usr/lib/ Undefined symbol
*** Error code 1

Any ideas on what I should do?
