I am using Redhat-5.0 with kernel 2.0.33. The Linux machine
mounts some directories from a Solaris 2.5 server. When there
is heavy nfs load from or to the Linux machine I currently
see the message 'NFS Server xyz not responding, still trying'.
This can go up to totally paralyzing the server.
When I mount some directories from a Solaris 2.6 server this
problem does not occur.
Has someone somewhere experienced these problems, too? Is there
a fix for it (except for upgrading to Solaris 2.6?)
