FTP: no messages for anon.??

Wondering why my anonymous users don't get the nifty welcome message,
whereas valid users do? What do I need to set for that to work as well?

in my /etc/ftpaccess file there is a line that reads:
message /etc/msgs/welcome.msg   login

could that have anything to do with it?

Thanks, you are right. I was using a link and apparently it won't work?!
so by copying the welcome.msg to my /home/ftp directory, it works now.

1. How doe one configure messages for Anon-FTP?

A couple of Solaris 2.3 Q's:

I was wondering if anyone knew how to configure anonymous-FTP such that it
displays a message (ie, welcome, disclaimer) each time the person logs in?
I've also seen servers where a message (presumably the .message file) is
displayed everytime a user changes to a specific directory... how is that
done?
