Hello, my name's Max.
I've upgraded my kernel from 2.0.14 to 2.0.15 but now I've many problems running
Apache WWW server. The same problems happens with
release 1.1.1 but also with the old 1.0.5, during web access by a
remote client, the system on wich the server is installed sometimes
crashes and other times put on the standard output the following msg:

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address c0000004
current->tss.cr3 = 005a4000, %cr3 = 005a4000

Sometimes after this message the command promt turn back, sometimes
the system crashes and the only thing to do is reboot.
ALL WORKS FINE with 2.0.14 kernel (both 1.0.5 and 1.1.1) so I've tried to
recompile with success (no problems during compile time) Apache 1.1.1 under
kernel 2.0.15... nothing's changed. Any idea ? Do you know what this error
message means ? Many thanks in advance for your help, Max.

1. Ftape 0.9.9d, Kernel 0.99.15, Modutils 0.99.15 Help.

Right, i got the modutils, compiled it, ran the demo (?), it worked.

I Patched the kernel, no rejections of errors anywhere.

I Re-compiled the kernel, A1.

(This is too easy, thought I!)

I did a make clean ; make in ftape dir, and it tols me there was no such file
or directory as delete_module, and _ftape_big_buffer and _do_floppy were
undefined.

Read instruction (Ha, help).

Checked the kernel/ksyms.S file, it contains references to the undefined
problems, but still refuses to compile.

What is going on?
