1. help: nfs3 / file locking

hi. i installed the 2.2... kernel (SUSE dirtribution) now, because i
need
linux for a file server for
sgi-irix machines. they need file locking over nfs for some resons. this

is supported by NFS3
only. so, the knfsd should support knfsd. but it don't seem so. i can't
mount nfs3 on the irix
computers and when i use make, i get answers as

At end of source: error(1513): Makedepend error: fcntl (Makedepend) : No

locks available

so, do i have to enable nfs3? did i do something wrong? any idea? or do
you know a
documentetion for the knfsd?
