Hi,

I have a pure 100M network (2 hosts).
To increase performance while transfering big files, what is the best
solution : half or full duplex?

They go between the data packets. They are so small that the effect is
hardly noticeable. Much worse are collision problems created by full duplex
in bad cases.

Unless you're similtaneously transfering in both directions,
you won't notice much of a difference.

Only if transfering in both directions at the same time.
Otherwise, little difference.

And take up how much time on the wire, compared to full size
data packets? And how many computers are capable of
sustaining 100 MB/s?
