mount -t nfs nfsserver:/path/to/nfs/share /mnt/somewhere \
-o rsize=8192,wsize=8192
(only works on Unix machines)

You can buy commercial products that allow 'Doze to use NFS shares.
Microsoft has their own network filesystem, so there is precious little
internal support in 'Doze for other network filesystems.

If you're interested in using a Linux machine as a fileserver for a
bunch of 'Doze machines, you want to be using Samba, not NFS.  Google
for "Samba tutorial" or pick up the O'Reilly book on Samba (which might
be available for free over the Web) and you'll be up and running.

For a Windows machine, use Samba, not NFS.

1. Setting-up Dialin Server on Red Hat 7.3 or 8.0

Hi Folks,

I have both a Red Hat 7.3 and Red Hat 8.0 server on my network, and I'd
like to setup a dial-up server on either so I can dial in from my laptop
while at work or around town.

I've been reading up on this for quite some time, but I can't find
anything specific to Red Hat 7.3 or 8.0.  Most of the websites I've found
are general and require recompiling the kernel or are very outdated (Red
Hat 6.0 or below).  I'd love to find something more current that reflects
the installed components on RH 7+.

If anyone knows of something specific to my config, I'd appreciate a link or
some pointers.

Thanks and take care,

Keegan.
