Searching Driver for IBM TOKENRING PCI networkcard .

The driver ibmtr (from the redhat distribution) doesn't recognize the
IBM 16/4 TOKENRING PCI Adapter 2.

I tried to probe it with the other tokenring drivers. None of them
seems to recognize the nic.

Exists there a linux-driver for IBM 16/4 TOKENRING PCI Adapter 2?

Thanx in advance

Yes, there is a driver for IBM pci Tokem-Ring Card. The cryptic name of the
driver is "olympic". It's easy to use. Add "alias tr0 olympic" to
/etc/conf.modules and go ahead and configure the network device. To read
more look in the Kernel documentation:
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/networking/olympic.txt
