Hello:

I am trying to use Xwindows from a different box, but it reports that my
Linux box "is not running rexecd".

A search of the man pages on Linux does show information on rexecd, but I
am unable to find the daemon.

Is it an option for Linux, or is it hidden away in some obscure directory?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  Maybe the one you are looking for is sxpc, I tried version 0.9 half a year
  over a 14.4 modem line and the performance was pretty good. The other
  possibility is lbxproxy which comes with XFree86 3.1.2. Its not really
  documented yet and i dont know how this works...
