I assume you mean Red Hat 6.1 (the distribution), not Linux 6.1. Linux (the
kernel) is only up to 2.3, and RH6.1 shipped with kernel 2.2.12.

You can download the sendmail 8.10.0 RPM from Red Hat's "rawhide"
directory. I applied this over my 6.1 system and it works fine. Save your
old mc file and any /etc customizations and migrate any custom settings to
the new redhat.mc file.

Upgrade 8.9.3 to 8.10.0 (sendmail on Red Hat)

Thanks for the help.  I am indeed using Red Hat 6.1.   I'm not finding
the RPM within the downloads of Red Hat or the "Rawhide" area within
their FTP site.   Could you give me the name of the new Sendmail 8.10
RPM?

I use VA Linux's mirror:

ftp://ftp.valinux.com/pub/mirrors/redhat/rawhide/SRPMS/SRPMS/sendmail-
8.10.0-1.src.rpm

You should be able to find the binary RPM nearby.

You can try http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/sendmail.html to find many
sendmail versions available in RPM format, including the rawhide build of
8.10.0. I use rpmfind.net to find all my RPMs. Just replace the package
name in the above URL to find other packages.

1. Red Hat 7.1 - Installing Red Hat packages after Red Hat is already installed.

How can I install packages that I forgot to install with the Red Hat
7.1 installation?

Here's my problem:
Various pieces of Red Hat keep saying that I am missing a file and
that it needs to be installed with a certain package (namely most of
the Kontrol Panel).  But I have been unsuccessful at finding where
this is done.  I am still a newbie with Linux, but I would assume that
there should be an "Add/Remove Programs" equivalent with Linux.

Please help!
