You can create the named.boot...file.
and modifity /etc/rc.d/rc.inet2.
/etc/named ..remark take off

1. Help please, setting name for IP in hosts doesn't work
Hi,
Running AIX 4.3, I entered into the hosts file, the name and IP.
When I try to use the name instead of the IP to access another computer, it
doesn't recognize it.
I am I doing something wrong or fogotten to do something else?
