IP Masq'd Workstation to connect to IP Masq'd Workstation

I have setup my Linux Box with IPMasq. Everything runs fine from my win box
behind the proxy. Now I just encountered a problem. I have tried to connect
to an ftp server that is behind NAT server which are both on winboxs

|              | server                |

I can't seem to connect to the FTP even when the FTP Client is set to
passive mode. Does anyone know whether there is anything I can do on my side
of the connection such as reconfiguring my Linux Box to fwd properly?

This sounds like the "nat" server as you call it which is protecting the ftp
server needs a dose of impasqadm to portforward to the ftp server. This
requires a pretty recent kernel to be most painless. I've just been through
this routine. I now have my firewall 24.x.x.x port 80 able to forward all
port 80 requests to port 80 on a 192.168.x.x box. Has nothing to do with the
client side. if masquerading is working correctly this is not an issue, it
is the server end that sounds like it needs fixin'

Have you inserted the ftp module for ip masq?

1. IP Masq/IP Chains Question (forwarding smtp to 'internal' mail server...)

Hey all.

I was just wondering if this were possible:

I have my cheapo, old Linux box handling ip masq for my internal network (I
have a cable modem).  This works fine.  But, can I have the IP Masq. box
forward all incoming port 25 and 110 to say port 25 and 110 on an internal
IP?  (192.168.0.3)  This way I could practice a few mail servers on the
inside without having to do it on the 'external' machine.

Just curious and hopeful.

Chris
