by I am trying to use DIP to slip from my Linux system to an Hp 712.
The connection seems to make but I cant talk correctly. ie:
ping foo gives
ping foo (ip) etc 128.4 ms
Error byte #17 was 12 - should be 11
aa bb . . . 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 12 13 14 . . .
^
etc
The connection is still there but only 1 ping happens and it hangs.
