Post by Horaci » Fri, 18 Feb 2005 03:39:45

I have a laptop running suse. It is directly connected to internet via
ethernet using dhcp. I have also a pcmcia wireless card (dlink 650+) and I'd
want to know if it would be posible to share this connection with my
flatmate using wireless  He has a laptop with another pcmcia wireless card
and windows xp home edition.

1. Share a Internet connection (wireless)

I am running Mandrake 9.1 and would like to share my Internet connection
with my other computer that is running Windows XP. My plan is to install
a wireless PCI-card (Linksys WMP54G) on both computers.
Will this be enough if I want to share my Internet connection?
Is there any good information on the Internet regarding this?
I have search on the Internet but havent find anything for this case.

Best regards
