I am trying to connect some linux computers to a YP server running AIX.
So far, I can do ypcat, or anything else and it lists the info. But I
cannot login on any of the linux computers with a user that is only on
the YP server.
The AIX server does use shadowed passwords, so I was wondering, do I
perhaps have to use the shadowed passwd mods? Right now I just tried the
yp client programs that came with slackware. Are the shadow clients only
for a linux server, or would any ypserver apply?
