in.rexecd ... how can I put it to work?

Post by sergio » Tue, 23 Jun 1998 04:00:00

I'm using RedHat 5.1 and I need to use the rexec daemon!

I've started the service in inetd.conf ... but when I try to access with
the rexec client the server gives no response ... and the client keeps
waiting!

What is missing here!

    Thanks in advance

rexecd is broken in Red Hat Linux.  Don't bother.

Sergio,
I saw this message that you posted last summer and I am running into the
same problem.
Have you made any progress or found out any solution to make it work?

   Thanks in advance.
