I am using Linux 2.0.30 and there are WaveLAN drivers included in that
kernel release. Those are not PCMCIA WaveLAN drivers however, but you
can find those at http://www.pdos.lcs.mit.edu/~adj/wavelan.html

1. Wavelan wireless network problem
Hi,
I want to set up a small network link between two computer using two
wavelan 11mbs Turbo card. I am running RH 6.1, I use an ISA to PCMCIA
adapter on each computer.
I have downloaded and installed the wavelan2_cs module from the wavelan
site, but I can't get the card to work. I get a high beep and then a
low beep when the pcmcia card service start. However i am still very
new to linux and don't know what to do to try to find out what's wrong
with those cards. It seems that the card is properly identified by the
pcmcia module as the cardctl ident command return the right information.
I have also try dmesg but no without result.
What else shall i try to do to find out what wrong? please help
thanks
Jerome
