NEED HELP SETTING UP BERKLY BIND

I've been trying to set up Berkly bind for a while now and can not figure it out...
I keep getting a message in syslog like this

server named[137]: named.hosts:8: expected a number

Can anyone help me out here?

1. BERKLY'S BIND HAS CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

I'm currently trying to set up berkley's bind on a network at home on a linux
machine... I'm just playing around learning about networks as a hobbie and I
cannot figure this out... I've got books from hell here and there just not
complete enough... I checked my syslog log file and it says:

server named[137]: named.hosts:8: expected a number

I'm just not getting this... If you can help I'd appreic....
